Abstract
Thrombectomy should be offered within 6hrs of symptom onset for acute ischaemic stroke
Timely management is crucial to limit the extent of damage to the brain
It is estimated that 10% of ischaemic strokes are suitable for thrombectomy1
Current levels nationally across the NHS are low at 2.8% (to June 2021)1
This audit will evaluate provision of thrombectomy service and current referral pathways to Charing Cross Hospital
