Abstract

All new patients > 16 yrs seen in specialist Rheum depts with suspected inflammatory arthritis in England and Wales. Data presented in 2nd report gathered from 8 May 2019 to 7 May 2020. Data collection non-mandatory from 27 March 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic (mandatory thereafter from March 2021) Data analysed reflects activity prior to the major impact of COVID-19. Data collection via online proforma. From first appointment for all patients with suspected inflammatory arthritis. First 12 months of specialist care for patients with rheumatoid pattern inflammatory arthritis (inc. PsA rheumatoid type) Assesses: 7 key metrics of care, based on NICE Quality Standard 33. Clinical outcomes How inflammatory arthritis affects: mobility sleep wellbeing ability to work people’s day-to-day function
